Subsidies for photovoltaics in 2026

Status as of September 2026 according to the conditions of the State Environmental Fund. The schemes are subject to change; we will verify the specific conditions for your property before submitting the application.

Nová zelená úsporám: interest-free loan for households

• Support is provided in the form of loans from cooperating banks and building societies, where the state pays the interest. The repayment period is typically 10 to 15 years, or longer for comprehensive renovations.
• The level of support for photovoltaics is based on the installed capacity of the panels and the lithium battery capacity, subject to a maximum limit per measure. Energy storage is mandatory; the minimum plant output is 3 kWp with three-phase connection.
• The applicant is a natural person, owner of a detached house. Applications accepted from 25 June 2026; banks provide loans from September 2026; the programme is planned until 2029.
• Mandatory renovation passport prepared by an energy specialist.

NZÚ Light: direct grant for low-income households

• Intended for households where all members receive a retirement pension or a third-degree disability pension, or for households receiving housing benefit or child allowance.
• Supports photovoltaics combined with water heating: output from 3 kWp and a minimum 200-litre storage tank. Grants are paid directly; the renovation passport is free for these households.
• Can be combined with support for insulation and heat source replacement within the programme's overall limit.

Companies and entrepreneurs

Does not apply to NZÚ facilities. Support is available through programmes such as OP TAK or the Modernisation Fund (RES+), each with its own calls and deadlines. We will verify currently open calls for your business size and region and prepare the technical documentation. Solar PV for businesses
